I didn't have the chance, no. By the time I pulled myself together, he must have been readying to leave...I should have known something was wrong when he wouldn't stick around to have much of a conversation. When I resolved to just go to his room and sit him down to speak...that was when I found his pets gone, his boxes packed up, and his phone left behind.
I'm gonna put up flyers in the Vogue, too - you know, just in case. I get a lot of people coming through here, maybe someone's heard something.
...His stuff being packed up is really worrying. I mean, I get he might have a big job, but to pack everything up before it? the pets, I can get, I mean... yeah you'd get someone to take care of them, but the rest is a big yikes.

If it helps any, he had never entirely removed his things from the boxes, for as long as I've known him. I suppose I had taken them for granted, until I saw the place cleaned and the boxes all closed up.

He moved into Meropide back in April or May of last year, I don't quite remember which. Before that, I don't believe he'd stayed anywhere long-term in some time.
